In August 2015 Sergey Tsysar, Maria Karzova, Vera Khokhlova, and Oleg Sapozhnikov performed joint experimental studies on acoustic holography and non-invasive ultrasound histotripsy with their colleagues from the Center for Industrial and Medical Ultrasound (CIMU) in Seattle.

In summer 2015 LIMU team has participated in Internatiional Symposium on Nonlinear Acoustics (ISNA20). Oral presentations were given by staff members Oleg Sapozhnikov, Vera Khokhlova, Sergey Tsysar, Petr Yuldashev, and Timofey Krit, PhD students Maria Karzova and Elena Annenkova, and 5th year student Pavel Rosnitskiy. In May 2015, Julia Andriakhina received the First Degree Award presenting her project “Characterization of high‐output fields of ultrasound diagnostic probes" at the contest for the 2-nd year students of the Physics Faculty of Moscow State University. The project was conducted under supervision of V.A. Khokhlova and M.M. Karzova. Congratulations!

Ilya Sinilshchikov got a student stipend from Focused Ultrasound Global Internship Program for working on a project "Acceleration of generation volumetric lesions in tissue using HIFU waves with shock fronts" under supervision of Dr. Vera Khokhlova.

Pavel Rosnitskiy (5th year student) was chosen as the Best student 2015 of the MSU Physics Faculty with the project “Design of transducers for HIFU shock-wave applications”. Congratulations!

Marina Terzi (3rd year student) received an award for the Best Student presentation at the MSU Lomonosov conference, section Radiophysics on “Modeling and applications of vortex beams”. Congratulations to Marina!
