«BASIS» Foundation scholarship competition

Foundation for the advancement of theoretical physics “BASIS” in cooperation with the Faculty of Physics held a competition of scholarships for PhD students of the Faculty. LIMU PhD student Pavel Rosnitskiy became one of the six winners selected by the expert council of the contest. Earlier, in 2016 Pavel also became the winner of the contest established by O.V. Deripaska.

Congratulations to LIMU students with their bachelor degrees!

On 29 June 2017, a graduation ceremony of bachelors was held at Moscow State University. LIMU students Iliya Mezdrokhin, Julia Andriakhina, Dmitriy Sukhoruchkin, Andrey Polyanskiy, and Zhanna Cherepanova got their diplomas with honors personally from the rector of MSU in solemn atmosphere. Madina Khasanova has also completed her bachelor's program successfully. Now the LIMU team has six new graduate bachelors!

2-nd All-Russian Acoustical Conference in Nizhny Novgorod

In June 2017, the team of LIMU participated in the 2-nd All-Russian Acoustical Conference in Nizhny Novgorod with overall 18 presentations. Sapozhnikov O. A. gave a plenary lecture on the possibilities of fragmentation, visualization, and manipulation of kidney stones. Yuldashev P.V. was awarded by a medal named after L.M. Brekhovskikh. Five students became winners of the contest of presentations of young scientists.
