LIMU participates in celebration of the Day of Physicist 2018

On May 19th, 2018, Physics Faculty of MSU celebrated the Day of Physicist. LIMU team performed at several events of the day! Alisa Dorofeeva was chosen as a winner of the contest "Student of the Year" for her success in educational and scientific activities.

Students of LIMU gave talks at the conference «Lomonosov 2018»

Students of LIMU Elena Medvedeva, Anna Kunturova, and Elena Konnova gave talks at the conference «Lomonosov 2018» in sections of medical physics and radiophysics. Congratulations to our young colleagues with their very first scientific presentations!

Christopher Bawiec (CIMU, UW, Seattle) visited LIMU

In March 2018, Dr. Christopher Bawiec from the Center for Industrial and Medical Ultrasound (University of Washington, Seattle) visited LIMU to share his scientific experience. Dr. Bawiec gave a lecture about using capacitive micromachined ultrasonic transducers (CMUTs) for therapy.

Congratulations LIMU on recieving recent scholarships, grants and awards!

Spring semester of 2018 was really productive for LIMU team. 1st and 2nd year master students Julia Andriakhina, Andrey Polyanskiy, Marina Terzi, and Alisa Dorofeeva have recieved scholarships of «BASIS» Foundation. Reseach fellow Sergey Tsysar and postgraduate alumni Nastya Nikolaeva and Alyona Annenkova were awarded RFBR grants. Julia Andriakhina has replenished LIMU award collection with pesonal V. Potanin scholarship. Ph.D. student Pasha Rosnitsky has obtained the President award. Besides, Pasha and reseach fellows Petr Yuldashev and Timofey Krit have gained prizes for young scientists of MSU Physics Faculty.

Congratulations to newly graduated PhD students of LIMU!

A graduation ceremony for PhD students of the Physics Faculty of Moscow State University was held on the 6th of March 2018. This ceremony was performed for the first class that graduated from a new 4-year Phd Program. The Program is aimed to give students both research and teaching qualifications. LIMU students Anastasiya Nikolaeva and Elena Annenkova received their certificates of “Researcher. Instructor-researcher”.
