Excursion of students to the LIMU

On Saturday, July 28, 2018, a group of talented students from the summer camp "Lanat" visited the Laboratory of Medical and Industrial Ultrasound. The visitors were hosted by the LIMU members Sergei Tsysar, Pavel Rosnitskiy, and Julia Andriakhina.

Anastasia Nikolava and Elena Annenkova received a Ph.D. degree

On the 8th of June of 2018, recently graduated Ph.D. students of LIMU Anastasia Nikolaeva and Elena Annekova successfully defended their theses. Oleg Sapozhnikov supervised Anastasiia and Elena. Congratulations to Dr. Nikolaeva and Dr. Annenkova!

LIMU participated in Russian school-seminar “Waves-2018”

From 27th of May to 1st of June 2018 LIMU team participated in the XVI All-Russian School-seminar «Physics and application of microwaves» named after Professor Anatoliy Sukhorukov («Waves-2018»), that was held in the rest home of MSU "Krasnovidovo". Altogether, 16 talks were presented by LIMU students and researchers. LIMU students Alica Dorofeeva and Katya Ponomarchuk were awarded with diploma for the best talks.

Maria Karzova received an award named after L.M. Brekhovskikh from RAS

On 29th of May 2018, a ceremony of awarding the medals named after L.M. Brekhovskih from the Russian Acoustical Society was held in the conference hall of the P.P. Shirshov Institute of Oceanology. We are proud to announce that one of the two laureates of the contest was Maria Karzova who got her prize for research in the field of atmospheric and medical acoustics.
